Getting the fabrication started

cockpit fabrication
Yesterday was a productive start to the final fabrication of my cockpit. Most builders draw out plans, me I'm living dangerous, building the design on the fly. So far I decided to take the generic theme to the max. I'm gonna have 4 12.1" LCD displays in a row which will allow me to setup different configurations for whatever type of aircraft I decide to fly. Initially I wanted to mimic a 737 cockpit, but this would limit gauge placment and make a useful layout hard to accomplish.

Above the displays will go the glareshield(which will house an MCP, and below will be more controls to the left and right of the yoke. To the right on the floor will go the pedestal with more controls, throttle and the radio stack to name a few.

The 2 22" LCD's will be mounted a bit higher and at a slight angle for a better overall look.

Tell me what you think so far?
